Community Forum on Police Stops: Terry & Traffic

Are you and your Neighborhood being targeted for ID traffic and Terry stops at a level that other neighborhoods are not? Does this results in more arrest, tickets, fines which feeds the Mass Incarceration of working class, poor and, primarily, African-American people? Intuitively, we know the answers to these questions but we need the data; the data on stops that the police won’t release.

Come, join us as we show power with our numbers, voices and our feet. Who is being stopped, ID’d and/or frisked and where? Who is being stopped, and ticketed; where are the traffic stings and road blocks? We demand that the police should release this data, the demographics and the geographics.
