Governor Ralph Northam reinstated the civil rights of 69,045 Virginians who had been previously disenfranchised due to a criminal history. After a debate in the year’s first special session, individuals who were on supervised probation across the state were able to vote and participate in the legislative process. This is the first general election since that happen. Stand up and be heard.
Early voting begins on September 17, 2021.
