We are serving our community by supporting individuals who are recently released from prison. Governor Northam has proposed released close to 2,000 people from Virginia’s Department of Corrections in the coming months. Since March 16, 2020, we have supported 112 families by providing food for those who don’t qualify for SNAP/TANF, hygiene and personal supplies, and temporary shelter for those being released from facilities where someone has tested positive or shown symptoms of COVID-19. Please donate here if you are able to help.

Our goals are to flatten the curve of the spread of the virus by allowing space to self-quarantine without exposing families and the overall community to the novel coronavirus. If you are an individual who has been recently released or will be released soon, and feel you need to self-quarantine, or need assistance with food, hygiene or personal items, please fill out the Contact form below. We are all working remotely and will do our best to respond within 24-48 hours. Please only submit one request.

*Access to support will come on a first come, first served basis. Submitting the form will not guarantee support. We are raising funds as we support individuals and the needs are massive.
