Join us for a discussion about the legacies of the landmark Kerner Commission report and what they mean for race and ethnic relations in the United States today.

Speakers include Gov. L. Douglas Wilder, VCU Board of Visitors member and political analyst Robert Holsworth, U.S. Rep. Robert C. Scott, civil rights activist Joe Madison and Wilder School faculty, who will analyze the report’s implications for cities, policing, politics and economic development in Central Virginia and across the nation.

The event is free and open to the public.
