Category : jobs

Side hustles are a great way to feed your passions, transition to a new career, or simply increase your income. If making some extra money is your biggest priority, then you need to pursue side hustles that have a low barrier to entry so you can get started right away. Fortunately, there are plenty of options.

Delivery Services

Getting into the delivery service is a rather easy endeavor. You can start your own delivery business or join an existing one. To join a delivery service, you need a phone in order to access the orders/addresses and to communicate with the recipient if necessary.

You will also need a vehicle to make deliveries with. This can be a car, van, or even a bike/scooter depending on the type of deliveries you’ll be making. You also need to address the legal side of things. You’ll need an ID, proof of address, vehicle registration, and potentially some bank statements.

The ridesharing community has continued to expand over the years and it’s a great option for anyone who has a vehicle and plenty of time on their hands. Once you sign up to work for a ridesharing company, you can choose when to work and how many people you will pick up.

You can work as much or as little as you want. Additionally, ridesharing businesses also offer benefits. Many rideshare companies provide generous liability coverage as long as you are active. This protects you in the event of an accident and it can cover the cost of bodily injury or property damage.

It might shock you, but you don’t need to be an expert in order to be a tutor. You simply need to have a basic understanding of subjects in order to help others learn and comprehend them. For example, you don’t need to start off by tutoring high school students in advanced chemistry. You can start off with subjects at lower grade levels that you are more familiar with. You can specialize in math, writing, history, etc. As long as you can teach a subject to someone else, you can work as a tutor and make a decent hourly wage. It’s a great side hustle that requires little effort to get started.

Side hustles are meant to be an easy way to make some additional income. You don’t need to go out of your way to get certifications or qualifications to get started. There are plenty of options that require little to no skills to get started.
